Are there other games like this one?

I've tried downloading a couple and nothing scratches the same itch this one does. It's honestly annoying because I like the story, what I've read so far, and the gameplay is fun but man is the company greedy.

My Koi fish amount and packs have doubled since I spent some money, and it seems like I always have the highest tier bags and jewels amongst my cat lineup. Then I'll finish it after a couple of days only for the cat craze to immediately hit after it with ANOTHER highest tier bag or jewelry.

Like bruh, I really do like the game. It's been a while since a mobile game has hooked me like this but this is ridiculous. Does anyone have any recommendations for other games they play? I'll try out most. Thank you!

Is there a point to merging things past level 6?

I'm kind of ignoring the story until I have a lot of coins to be able to just go through a couple chapters all at once.

This means I usually have a small stack of those green and red boxes that contain ingredients to create more spawn boxes (idk the names, but like the tea and pastey ones). I've started just throwing away some of the extra ones because I don't see rhe point in having anything other than more chickens righr now.

Is there an extra benefit to being able to merge rhem higher?
