I have received the recent Graduation Robe Hire reminder stating that students must hire a UAL academic robe from Ede & Ravenscroft as a condition of attendance.

However, I have already hired my graduation gown from Churchill Gowns because I needed access to it several days before the ceremony for a graduation photoshoot with my friends. Before booking, I checked the UAL graduation information, which stated that students are not required to hire from Ede & Ravenscroft and may use another supplier, provided the gown meets the correct specifications. My gown has been hired to the required UAL standards.

I just wanted to clarify whether I will still be permitted to attend the ceremony wearing this gown, as the reminder email appears to contradict the information on the graduation website.

Hi everyone,

I’m graduating from Camberwell College of Arts on Monday 13 July at Royal Festival Hall, and I had a question about the guest ticket system.

As far as I understand, each student can either book 1 private box OR 3 guest tickets, and it’s capped at one private box per student. I was hoping to have a slightly bigger group attend, so I wanted to ask:

Does anyone know if it’s possible to book an additional private box through another student who isn’t planning to attend their graduation?

And if that is possible, would any Camberwell students who are not attending graduation be willing to let me use their allocation to book a private box? I’d of course cover the cost and compensate you for helping out.

Would really appreciate any insight or help with this!
