I love delhi and it taught me a lot

I came from a small town, had conservative parents and cherry on top was brought up in a joint family structure. I was always blamed and yelled for everything, how can I eat before my dad, how can I leave the dining table before my elder cousin. I was told I will get lost in Delhi and can't adjust will get scammed and what not. I have zero knowledge about the outside world. But somehow nothing happened what they all said I was myself surprised on my first day that nothing bad happen and I did it all on myself. Used metro later bus.

You never feel bore here there is a lot to do.

Movie events and lots of activities clubs. The best thing is here that you don't get judged for going alone or even with friends. Maybe you do but not on face like my hometown. I was told how bad i am to enjoy alone or with my friends. It's a sin for me to enjoy alone or with friends.

Peeps are a lot better here you don't get judged for not getting acne and being tall that you are a bad guy you did bad stuff yk what I meant. In fact here you get praised for them. I was told how doomed my future is at my hometown but here in fact I got motivated and my grades are 20% UP somehow.

A lot of people especially in middle class areas like dwarka, Malviya Nagar and Saket are so progressive. My parents were insulting me on bus and others looked sad that was very surprising for me because at my home town. It's all my fault.

It taught me a lot way too much, i am more better than I thought. I am more confident and happier than ever. I will reply and fight back as advised by my friends.

It's interesting to see how even doctors are more likely to support minors if their parents is insulting them. It's surprising to see how some doctors feel sad when you tell them that you need your parents consent for treatment.

There are some downsides that it's expensive, pollution and safety at night

I wish there was a metro pass i already have a bus pass but we all know about the traffic of delhi so it takes a lot more time than the metro.

I lost all my comfort like ac , fridge and soft bed as my punishment for living here.

Sorry for my bad english forgive me. Hope you are doing well.

I am 17 i hope I get a good college and get my comfort back.
