Bird ID please? (Texas)
Found this guy near an apartment complex that’s near a pond in Texas. I’m guessing an escaped pet? But my bird ID aps didn’t come up with anything.
Look at his cute cheeks!
While I was watching him, a squirrel walked next to him. First, he backed off a little bit to get some space. Then, the squirrel walked closer and this guy lowered his face down and looked directly at the squirrel in some kind of stand off. The squirrel ran off after that.
