Hey Everybody!

I wanted to preface this post by first saying a MASSIVE thank-you to everyone and anyone that picked up a mat, AP, or really anything from the shop for the anniversary sale this month! You all made the event feel so special with your support, sharing the milestone, and just letting me know how valued I am in this community! You seriously know how to make a dude feel special! ☺️✌️

I wanted to give a small extra thanks to some fantastic supporters who had commented on the sale post with their own experiences with BC with some snapshots here! I can't think of any better feeling than hearing the stories of people who are genuinely happy with what I'm putting out, or anything more motivating! 😁

Now, with that out of the way!

This was a commission from an awesome player out in Michigan who thought the female leads in SL needed some extra representation! (Totally agreed!!! 😊)
This was one where the direction was 'Have fun with it! But make sure Cha has the spotlight of course! 😉👌', and I believe I delivered!
Highlighted by the first meeting of Cha Hae-In and Sung Jin-woo in the Energy Area, I think the mat does an incredible job of exactly what we were looking to create together!

Hi Everybody!

I wanted to make this final post to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone and anyone who has EVER supported the store in any capacity!

This week has been incredibly busy for BC, and is there anything better than that to ask for?? 😁✌️

It's been an absolutely wonderful week, with people reaching out from all over, to let me know just how much they appreciate having a shop like this available for UA! Seriously, what a wonderful feeling! :D

I wanted to share the first two presses of the Playmat Titles (100GFs & Gurren Lagann) released during the sale, and I'm happy to say they've come out fantastic! Have a look yourself! 😊

All that to say, I started this month feeling a bit passive about things, and sharing a pretty vulnerable feeling with the community about how I am with my designs and the process. In return, I was met with unreal comments that I seriously wanted to share at the end of this anniversary week! (I've been collecting! Haha)

Thank you all so incredibly much, you have no idea how much this all means to me, and I hope for more years to come! 👋☺️

Hi Everybody!

This one was a commission from an AWESOME player I had the pleasure of facing off with during the UA event at the CNE last year! He immediately reached out once TTGL was announced for UA to get this mat and another special commission done (which will be released soon as well! 😉)

I'm honestly still shocked this series was announced as well! It's such a gem, and a huge sign of UA getting some more amazing titles added in the lineup! Re:Zero was gigantic as well!!!

If you've been seeing me for a while, you've probably noticed how much things have ramped up in releases since the Anniversary Sale began! I can finally say I'm getting close to caught-up on all commissions and a whole new wave is still to come in the coming weeks for AP!!!

This will be the final mat released while the Anniversary Sale is ongoing, so no worries if you've been holding out to see what may come out as the closing day approaches! Both this and the 100GFs playmat are ALSO part of the B1G1 sale that's currently being hosted for mats!

Hi Everybody!

This was a commissioned mat from a player who took place in the BastionCustom's Holiday Tourney way-back-when hahaha, they had fantastic ideas for how to make this mat absolutely perfect with incredible feedback!

I actually did something for this series I don't do often for ones I haven't yet seen, and watched a few episodes myself before starting! It's not my usual watch (As a Jojo/Baki/Shonen stan), but I actually found the concept super entertaining, funny, and surprisingly wholesome! It really amped me up to make a mat that matched the vibe I got from the show! 😁✌️

Also! The BastionCustoms Anniversary Sale is still going on until May 8th! (Check the 3rd pic for more info!) If you haven't checked it out yet, it's the biggest sale I've EVER hosted!

As a bonus, I'll also reveal here that there WILL be one more mat coming out this Wednesday, and that it's of one of the newest series announcements!

This is...a tough one to write.

I honestly can't believe we're here, at one year of BastionCustoms...It's just so...WOW!!!!!
Thank you all an incredible amount for the support you've given me and the shop this year! It LITERALLY could not, and would not exist without the UA Community and players from ALL OVER THE WORLD!

I've shipped to France, Germany, Thailand, even China now! UA is growing not just in NA, but people want to play, and are passionate about the game worldwide!

If there's anything this year has taught me, it's simply this:
Passion, leads to passion, leads to passion.

This game in itself is a love letter to us who are passionate about these series we enjoy so greatly, the passion of the game instills the players to support and build up the community and their local scenes, and my passion has only been able to burn so brightly this year BECAUSE of all of you!

--- I can't just sit idly and enjoy this milestone solo though! So I'm hosting an Anniversary Sale right now on the site!

I've brought every regular playmat down to the initial $40 pre-sale prices, 2-Player mats the same, added a B1G1 50% on ALL mats, and B2G1 FREE on all Action Points!!

--- I'm also doing something a bit different in the photos for this one, as I want to highlight just HOW I've been able to carry on with the shop this whole time. You may have been thinking I'm talking sales, commissions, etc. is how the community has kept me going, and I suppose in a technical sense that may be true hahaha
BUT - It's FAR more than that!

There's been days I truly struggle to work on these mats and cards sometimes. In fear of failure of the design, reception from the community, burnout, and about 100 other things that pop into my brain along the way through each and every design. Imposter syndrome for certain.

When I'm feeling that way, and like I might just be letting you all down or falling off, I have certain screenshots I've accumulated that just make me smile and get back to the grind! I wanted to share some of those here with you all, and again, state my thanks for each and every one of you.

Seriously, you've changed my life, and I want to give back as frequently as I can!

--- There's still some VERY exciting projects I'm working on that I hope you'll all enjoy! Experimentation is, and always will be, the name of the game for BCustoms! And what's in the pipeline is some more amazing
