Rate my tank/set up
Been reefing for about 4 months, started with a Nano tank & became very quickly obsessed… spent a stupid amount of money on a full 4ft 400L set up.
Tank in the pictures in about 7 weeks old, fully stocked, (I moved a lot of mature live rock and sand out of nano so it cycled super fast).
So far so good, no issues, corals doing super well. Fish all happy and claimed a territory.
I’m running a reefmat, reef 2 doser, skimmer, UV filtration, chaeto in refugium (I have a reactor but havent used it once because chaeto is going the job fine).
Please rate my tank and give me any thoughts for improvement. I’ve tried to place corals where they would naturally sit & created intricate rock work so all fish have a natural home.
Tank is home:
2x clowns 2x bengai cardinals 2x lilac helfrichi firefish peacock wrasse radiant wrasse 1x mandarin dragonet (fat boy as I’ve dosed over 200 packs over pods over the last 6 weeks) 1x royal gramma.
3x cleaner shrimps 5x Nassarius snails (all laying eggs at the minute so water must be good) - feeding Heavily at the minute to increase nutrients and help fish stay settled. 10x Trochus 1x biscuit starfish 5x hermit crabs
Corals: 4x torches (various colours, 1 rare one) 1 frogspawn Duncan coral Blasto Rainbow BTA Chicago sunburst BTA GPS (growing across back wall) Mushrooms Acropora & montipora (top rock) Zoa garden with rare morphs Pussy coral Kenya trees
