My 29yo daughter dated a few toads. Finally found her coqui! He is puertoriqueño but is in last year of residency here on Gulf Coast, he's 32.

His parents are coming in 10 days. I am nervous. But they are coming to a new place and meeting all my husband's side...so they're likely more nervous.

I was fluent in Spanish, got a BA in it. 40yrs ago lol. I'm brushing up on it, and though they both speak English well, I wish to welcome them, make them comfortable.

I'm acquainted with Mexican etiquette, as i lived there and returned to visit several times, but I want to be warm and gracious as they would be if tables were turned.
