My FIL has an interesting sword that’s been in the family awhile, no one knows who’s initials is written on the inside of the guard other than the family name. The makers mark looks to be intentionally tarnished for what ever reason and the other side seems to have tiny little writing. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
