Ever since Amazon switched systems a couple of months ago, I have noticed a divergence between the sales that Amazon Ads says it has gotten versus the real sales that I'm actually getting. This month, for example, Amazon Ads says it's sold 2 books (74 clicks), but the Kindle Direct Publishing dashboards says there's been 16 sales.

My books definitely do not have a following nor a stable fan base that would be buying them without ads; absolutely nobody would even know they exist without my ads.

I know that there's always been some lag in reporting sales and there's always been a minor difference between KDP numbers and Ads numbers, but it's never been so large.

Have any of you guys been noticing this?
