Stopping the birth control patch after a month?

Background: I was on the patch for about 7 years and I got off of it early 2025. I’m guessing because of the hormonal changes, I shedded a lot of hair.

I mistakenly decided to start the patch back up last month but after some reckoning, I realized that I don’t want to put myself back into a similar position as I was before (especially since I’m celibate and would only be on it as a precaution) I also have borderline high blood pressure/high cholesterol.

My question is, is being the on patch for one month already enough to get my body “hooked” on those hormones i.e. causing a large withdrawal/shock to my body if I stop it? I started my second box but I’m only on day 3 of the 1st patch, is it ok for me to stop now? I know tapering off birth control isn’t really a thing medically but could I wear half of a patch each week, for this month, and then stop? TIA!
