In the south UK, trying to find a geography position. I've had 11 applications (2 cover, 1 RPE), 4 interviews and no job. I am doing my PGCE in geography, but have been invited to an interview for an RPE (Religious studies, philosophy and ethics) where I would do at least ECT 1. I definitely have the skills to teach it, but should I have any concerns if I wanted to go back and teach geography again? I am not willing to move out of the county, and there is lots of competition at job interviews. Is this interview worth going for?
