Final year student paramedic here.

Given the somewhat dire situation with NQP posts, I've been looking into other ways to spend a year or two to see if the job situation brightens a bit. One of these options is some sort of MRes/MSc course with the aim of becoming a research paramedic.

Does anyone have any experience of being a research paramedic? Who do you work for (trust/uni/etc)? And how does it usually pay?

It's not something we've been given a lot of information about so if anyone has anything worth mentioning I'd appreciate it.
