Seized Screw Boat Throttle
Hello everyone,
Not car related, but figured some of you wrenching experts may have dealt with this before. This is on my 2010 Key West boat throttle. Trying to replace the trim tilt switch. Of course a simple project turned into this. I’ve got a tiny stainless screw seized in an aluminum bushing.
I already drilled the head off, but there’s not enough left to grab with vice grips. I’ve soaked it in PB Blaster, tried gripping it from the top, and can’t fit a Dremel in there to cut a slot for a flathead.
At this point I’m thinking my only option is carefully drilling it out with a tiny bit. Any other recommendations before I go that route?
