Why can't you people understand for the life of you what freedom of speech is?
It's specifically an amendment that protects you from the **government** punishing or censoring you. Not a civilian. The amount of times I see people pull the "I have freedom of speech" card when it's just civilians is disgusting. You can see this in arguments, when they're too dumb to provide any actual logic to their reasoning so they fall back on the "I said it because I can."
I got strongly reminded of this with this whole ChudTheBuilder thing when people keep bringing up freedom of speech whether to defend or disagree with him. Freedom of speech has nothing to do with what happened. The police wasn't there to arrest him for what he was saying, you're legally allowed to say any hateful slurs and such you want. He was arrested for literally intentionally shooting someone.
