My hair is starting to come out now and I’m sad. I’m not ready to lose my hair yet. Also this month makes a year since I was told about the diagnosis and 1 year on chemo ( I am not okay). I have stage 4 with liver Mets. I could really use some encouraging words and stories
At the moment I’m really struggling trying to stay positive. I just recently had a baby 5mths ago and I’m running on empty but I push through because my baby needs me. I’m appetite has changed drastically I’m lucky if I eat 2x a day. The Little energy I do have goes to my baby( which I don’t mind). I have scans coming up and I’m nervous about them. I cry in secret so no one sees me as being weak. Mostly my days are filled with worrying and fear. As of late it’s been a struggle trying to stay positive throughout this journey.
So my skin has been extremely dry and nothing I use seems to work. I’ve tied mixing oil in with my lotion (cocoa butter) but lately my skin has been super dry and itchy. No matter how much lotion or oil I use I still end up ashy like I didn’t put anything on. Any suggestions?
Does anyone have any tips for mouth care while on chemo (FolFox and erbitux) the toothpaste burns my mouth when I brush. Also any creams for Neuropathy (that actually work) I currently can’t feel text and everything I touch feels like pressure
Is anyone else dealing with neuropathy? I’m currently on folfox and erbitux my hands feel like frostbite.
Lately I’ve been seeing so many people pop on social media with stage 4 colon cancer and they either didn’t make it or it’s terminal and only have a few weeks or months left to live. It has been scaring me so bad because I’m stage 4 and I know everyone is different but it’s hard knowing what I know about my situation. I started erbitux along with my regular treatment and I’ve noticed black spots on my tongue and under my nose. I googled if the medication causes black spots on tongue but it could be from the antibiotics they have on tongue prevent a rash that’s comes with erbitux. It has me so nervous and confused. I started writing letters for my baby who is only 1 month old just in case and that hurts like hell
