Advice needed for mini phalaenopsis
Hi All! I have bought this mini phalaenopsis last month in a garden center. It had mites on it and I have treated the issue successfully, although most of the flowers have dropped. The roots were also rotting so I has to act fast. Then the remaining roots also started rotting :( so now there is barely anything, but these three flowers, holding on steadily. At least I have stopped a downward spiral. It also has a terminal spike which I didn’t recognize. The situation is at least contained, and I am trying to hydrate the plant through the leaves and the remaining two small roots. It is sitting on top of clay balls in a ventilated pot. What can I expect here? I wished I brought the plant back, but I guess a lesson for the future to buy them from better places. I have a dendrobium and a vanilla plantifolia from a specialty store and they are thriving. Can you please advise me if there is anything more I can do to hydrate and help root growth?
