Honestly, as the top guard unit for a major nation's Daimyo, the Guardian Shinobi Twelve should theoretically be way stronger than the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.

Think about it: Naruto has insane Uzumaki chakra reserves and tail-beast healing. If Guy taught him the Eight Gates, he wouldn't even need to open the 8th Gate himself.

He could literally spawn a front line of 50 Shadow Clones, have EVERY SINGLE ONE of them open the Gate of Death, hit Madara with 50 Night Guys simultaneously, and then just dispel the clones and pop a ramen.
