Why does my FPH5 take up to 2 minutes to open the photo gallery?

Since the last update, it shows a current date

and no longer my apps???

Is it possible to prevent the Fairphone from accessing the 2G network using SMS Blaster? In Switzerland, this has resulted in damages of CHF 1,900,000!
