How should I go about caring for this?
Hello, so I had gotten fishbone cactus stem in a tiny little pot about a year ago and had just a little bit of growth on it when I had gotten it, currently it's at this. There's a lot of new growth on it, this has been my first ever cactus of this type, I'm a little bit confused at how some of the cactus leaves and stems are tri-sided but then other ones are flat lol. And then some of its features like the really stringy dangly bits, remind me of spider plants and strawberries, do those bits need to go in some soil eventually or do they just hang in the air?
Going forward, I think I'm most interested in what type of soil, container, and room type should I provide for it, and what kind of fertilization would be appropriate for its growth?
I haven't dug up its root ball yet as it seems to be having a lot of new leaf growth currently, but I'm not seeing roots pushing up against the plastic so I'm not sure if I should size up the container.
