Anyone else feel like Airline status is way more valuable than hotel status? I’ve been Hilton Diamond for 7 years now and they just keep devaluing the program and now they made it more difficult to achieve with the spend requirement.

That aside.. I feel like I get frequent seat upgrades on Delta, American, and United when I have status. Even the lowest tier. I “maybe” get a couple bottles of water from Hilton. For the most part. The hotel you’re checking into doesn’t give a shit that you’re diamond with Hilton since most hotels are independently owned and just branded Hilton.
