Second surgery

Has anyone needed a second surgery? First was done in November 2025 healed well was doing great then grabbed something heavy in April and had a moment of pain that reminded me of DQ. Over the next month and a half my hand got worse and worse again. Saw my surgeon two weeks ago and he told me 25% of patients sometimes need a second surgery because tendons can fill/catch in the space that was “snipped” before.

How do you find help?

I am diagnosed with imaging and surgeries and all the tests with Occipital Nueralgia, POTS, Ankylosing spondylitis, fibromyalgia and Endometriosis (had adeno as well but the hysterectomy in February fixed that). And I cannot find someone who will help more than Tylenol and ibuprofen. I’m allergic to naproxen and most steroids so that is already limiting.

I have been on max tylenol and ibuprofen for over a month due to a ON flare that I cannot get under control. My PCP just referred me to a new neurologist since I moved 8hrs from my last and before the first appointment they require a form signed stating they will not except in extreme cases manage pain and that I understand that.

I live in Colorado and have genuinely seen doctors all over the state since I live in a rural area and not a single one will discuss pain management and gets upset when I mention pain.

I see influencers with my same diagnosis getting amazing pain management care and not having to convince doctors they aren’t seeking. I’m just confused how some people are even finding doctors because I cannot find one that actually wants to help manage chronic problems.
