I got a (verbal) job offer this morning for a internship position at a construction company. However the site is about 60km from my home (around 37 miles) one way. I don’t have a car but I can borrow my dad’s car, however his car is pretty new and I don’t wanna wear it down.
I do have previous experience and they’re only offering 1$ more per hour than my previous internship and my commute was way shorter.
By doing the math, it doesn’t seem worth it and they want me to stay with them for a year minimum.

Would it be smarter to decline and just work on finding another internship for fall or should I just accept it? My dad says to think about it but I’m a bit hesitant icl
