What is wrong with men?

I’m really upset right now. I haven’t felt safe walking in my neighborhood for months and I thought maybe if I walk around at 5:30 AM I’ll be ok because everybody who’s up at that time is either going to work or already there.
I decided to walk to my local donut shop and as I’m walking back home, I make eye contact with that dude in the video. I didn’t really think much of it. I was feeling a bit uneasy, but I just kept walking. I get to one of my parking lot and he pulls up and he’s parked there asking me if he can sell me(18f), some alcohol for $10. I told him I don’t want what he’s selling and that he can leave me alone, I’m yelling this mind you.
There were four men at the time in that parking lot along with him, but they were all working. They all saw and heard me yelling and did nothing so I walked in front of his car and I just walked by one of them. I didn’t feel safe with any of those men though. I had called my dad and he came to pick me up and that was the video I was able to take of him. As we’re driving away, he yells I thought you were a hooker. I was wearing sweatpants a baggy hoodie, and a bonnet… what really made me upset was the fact I had texted one of my guy friends asking if I could share my location because I felt uneasy (I texted him this before the situation happened) and he just dismissed me and said I’ll be fine. Never doubt a women’s intuition. i’m just so sick and tired of men not just the ones who are actively doing stuff like this but also just being bystanders and it’s not only just men. It’s women too. If you see something happening, that doesn’t look right, do what you can to step in. You could be somebody’s safe Haven from becoming a victim. It only takes a few good Samaritans to stop people from doing evil.
