A local events company books prolific LGBT and drag community serial abuser for Sunday night

This events company publicly claims to be a "safe space" and inclusive.

And her history is very well known, including having dozens of victims over at least five years, running online smear campaigns labeling other performers as pedophiles, racists, committing hate crimes, SA and more.

A number of her victims over the years attempted suicide and her mother works for Samaritans in England.

“We’re part of the Chinese community and…”

Just had what I can only describe as a bizarre encounter at my flat on the Southside.

I was expecting a package and buzzed in two women. The first was white with a Scottish accent, looked to be in about her late 50’s at least and had shoulder length curly black hair and glasses. Only she spoke. Behind her was an East Asian woman in her 20’s perhaps.

At my door she said “we’re part of the Chinese community and would like to know if there are other Chinese people living on this block”

After a second I asked her what organization she was with and the purpose of her visit. She was holding a sheaf of papers with Chinese writing and some smaller photos of people.

She repeated the same thing again.

I replied by saying “I’m not having this conversation with someone who I don’t know, please leave.”

They both left without a fuss but I found the whole thing kind of unsettling and very odd.

Has anyone else seen or experienced this? What do you make of it?
