Hi, 29F, want to travel to Shillong in the last week of June. I have 4 nights, and I have always wanted to go to Meghalaya.

I have never travelled solo before, and I am expecting heavy rainfall, so I was a little skeptical.

Need suggestions and guidance on

1. Which places should I cover

2. How to travel locally

3. Where to stay as a solo female traveller (recs)

(I will be travelling on a budget, but I am fine with shelling more here and there, if it means better experience and more safety)

Is this a good time to go? Or should I think of something else?
