Reward Flight - Agent incorrectly booked passenger name

Booked a reward ticket through Flying Blue and the agent incorrectly spelled one of the passenger names. They said they would correct it after 24 hours but have failed to do so. They then said that the carrier has to change the name. Spoke to the carrier (Aero Mexico) and they said only Flying Blue can change it.

Anyone have any way of getting out of this chicken and egg situation?
