Worried about University
Hello!
Put simply, I am really worried about going to Leicester University. Im looking to do a Mathematics degree at Leicester off of UCAS points as I had to drop A level economics for AS level due to time constraints leaving me with only 2 A levels and an AS level instead of 3. Originally I wanted to go Loughborough or University of Nottingham.
Ive seen Leicester social life, the people that go there etc as I am a member of the Roger Bettles Sports Centre(Uni leisure centre) and I dont think I am going to fit in at the uni well and worry I wont be able to make good friends/find a partner.
If I want to go to Loughborough or Notts, I will need to take a Year out and study A level further Maths or physics or econ etc to get myself that 3rd A level to go. Im predicted A's in all of my current subjects so if I were to do a 3rd A level I would meet the Notts and Loughborough entry reqs easily. Im worried that staying at home all year also will be depressing, and im not entirely sure what to do in this situation. If anyone could give me some adivce that would be great, anyone with knowledge of the social lives, what to think about etc
: ] thanks for your time reading
Edit: If I go to Leicester Ill be staying at home (20 min walk) and save accomodation money and I dont particularly fancy accomodation living, If I go to notts or Leicester however ill have to live there aswell and will cost me extra money + time.
