The ending screen showed the Ruins lady saying the next update is coming on 9/21, so... Ruins event returning already?

You can now retry the shrines twice a day by watching an ad or spending gems.

I found this out on my first red portal attempt, and it's saved me twice now.

It's also great if you're struggling with the shrines even without red portal.

Just making a note about this, so it's not buried in another thread: the second stat on A- and S-rank Memory Cores are random.

So on top of the grind for the S-ranks, you're also going to hope you get S-ranks with decent 2nd stats.

I can see some A-ranks being better than S-ranks because of this, like if you get +Atk or +M.Atk as your secondary stat.

This is a long term grind and refinement process.

Hey, just a thought - now that the Paladin Feat Sheet has been extended, it means it will overlap with the next Advanced Job Feat Sheet that is expected to release next week.

It seems likely that the next Feat Sheet will also have an S-rank memory requirement, so if you hold off on ranking anything up to S until it's out, you can get them to count for both sheets.

To do this easily, when doing your Multi Rank Up, change it from "D - A" to "D - B" and this will make it only merge up to A. It does NOT save this setting for the future, so you will need to do this manually every time.

Anyone been able to beat this yet?

Every time I've tried so far, the mirror just instantly dies when the Arrghgoyles show up, because their Sizz just sits on top of, and you can't do anything about it.

I'm watching a Japanese streamer, and he's saying he thinks the Paladin Feat Sheet may be impossible to complete because of the number of S-rank Memories required to complete each page.

We have 11 days left, and I've gotten 1 so far. And the streamer has gotten 7 through some hardcore farming, and revealed that the second page requires 25, and he's not even sure he'll be able to complete that, let alone whatever's on the third sheet.

Seems insane to predicate this new bonus on something as random as getting S-rank memories, let alone 25+ of them.

How is everyone else progressing on this? Have I just been very unlucky with S-rank memories, or is everyone else in the same boat?

And why is everything in the game like this? lol

I haven't unlocked Paladin yet, but here's some info compiled from a Japanese streamer.

1. As we all probably know, they can equip four memories
2. They start with an Allowance of 150, compared to 10 for Basic Vocations
3. Advanced Vocations gain 4 Allowance on even levels, and 5 on odd levels - max cap is 370, so at some point this changes
4. Advanced Vocation levels require 60% more exp than Basic Vocations
5. Some panels in the Tree require new Rainbow Nodestones to unlock, the only known source of which is the DQ6 event shop at this time
6. Hero / cross-class bonuses come at levels 25 and 50

Specifically for Paladin...

1. The Paladin barrier is unaffected by the 1 HP stage debuff, making those much easier
2. Likewise, the Paladin barrier damage received does not count towards "Complete the level taking X damage or less," making them much easier as well
3. The first stage of the unlockable / equipable Paladin Guard damage increase enhancement is about 10%
4. If you take a big hit, like from a Bomboulder self-destruct, the damage will pass through the barrier to hit you
5. The Paladin's counterattack works with ranged attacks, spells, etc.
6. Powering up the counterattack blessing increases its damage by about 50%

Title says it all.

I've thrown a ton of free pulls at it so far to no avail, and am considering spending gems on it.

My thinking:

1. Who knows how long it will be until we get more claws / Martial Artist weapons?
2. Goes very well with Fire Sword / Dragonlord's Staff, which I have.
3. The Claws' CdG projectiles seem like it would go very well with the Killer Spear turret CdG, which I have.
4. I don't have the Crystal Claws.

I probably won't decide until after we see what the next banner is, but looking for impressions.

Well, there we go - Dragonsbane Claws and equipment.

Fire damage and +5% damage to dragons. Guessing the new Ethereal Dragon memory is red and had dragon killer on it, too.

Adding Chapter 6 is a genuine surprise.

Title says it all - has anyone ever hit the cap of 30,000 SG points and know what happens?

I guess I'm wondering if points are lost, or if they're "held" by your pass until you free up some space.
