Coop Interview
Hi everyone,
I recently received a few interview offers. At the beginning of the process, I applied fairly broadly since there were limited options aligned with my main interest (clinical/healthcare roles), so I also included some positions I was less certain about just to increase my chances of securing interviews.
Now that I have several interviews scheduled, I’m trying to prioritize the ones that align more closely with my long-term goals. I’m not sure how to handle the ones I’m less interested in—whether it’s appropriate to cancel them, how to phrase it professionally, and whether I should go through my co-op advisor or contact employers directly.
For those who’ve been through this: how did you decide which interviews to drop, and what wording did you use when canceling? Did you involve your co-op advisor?
Thanks in advance!
