England here, ok employment advice please.

Ok, I started with my current employer earlier this year, the first week was training/ induction, after that I attended two other days of training, of witch I was paid for one, I have since been told that all training is unpaid, I have been through ACAS and the company did not respond until today (after the conciliation process) where they reiterated that training is unpaid and the one day I got paid for was a mistake, they also told ACAS that I am to return my uniform.

Apparently I did sign a contract to say that training is unpaid....

Can anyone assist with advice please, I'm owed about £650...

Unpaid training.

Hi, ok earlier this year my soon to be former employer had me come in for a week's induction and training, plus one other day. I have been told that I will not get paid for this until I have completed 6 shifts to a satisfactory standard and completed all my training, yes it's a zero hour contract, no they haven't given me any shifts apart from a week I had to turn down due to not getting paid. I have been through ACAS and even though the process has finished, they did not respond.

However after said period has passed they have responded and stated:

Training is unpaid.

They finished that with:

The employee should return his uniform.

I have been paid for an additional day of training, apparently I signed a contract saying that training would be unpaid but I don't remember that.

Anyone have any advice here?
