So I need advice. We are renting a house, which unfortunately rather limits our gardening options, but it comes with this absolutely gorgeous azalea that smells like heaven. I would love to start a cutting either to bonsai or to take with us when we eventually move. I was given a recipe for root starter, but my question is what time of the year would be best to try this experiment. It's just finishing up it's bloom, which I attached in a photo (too bad there is no smell-o-vision) but I don't know if I should wait until later in the year and I figured it couldn't hurt to ask in case any of you have done anything like this before.
