I'm trying to find a NES game I bought in the US in the 90s. It may have been an unlicensed or clone cartridge, and it was a single-game cart, not a multicart.

• Top-down view with vertical scrolling, a bit like Ikari Warriors
• You walk from the bottom of the screen to the top to finish each level
• Enemy ninjas, in different colors depending on the level, come from the top of the screen and jump over scenery
• You throw shurikens
• Levels loop, and the enemies get faster each time (I vaguely remember up to 99 levels)
• Released before 1992

Things I've already ruled out: Ikari Warriors, Ice Climber, Kid Icarus, Legend of Kage, Ninja Jajamaru-kun, Ikki.
