Hi there, I just bought this piece of art that looks impasto impressionist, with the signature Châu. I've been told the painting looks like it is set in Vietnam. Just wondering if anyone knows about this artist?

Not asking from a resale point of view, as I love the piece and can't wait to put it up. But would love to know more about it.
