Is the Yamaha P-45 still worth it?
I'm not a beginner, been playing for >5 years but I also know I won't be playing often enough to justify a higher end model. My local piano store is closing down and is selling their stock at a discounted price. Unfortunately, the model I want, the P-145 is sold out. I don't like the other options within my budget (fp10 keys too heavy, es60 is nice but gets clunky when playing faster pieces). The P-45 is what the sales assistant recommended, but I didn't get to try it out and it is a 10 year old model, which does put me off a little. It is really affordable though, so is it still a decent option, or should I get the 145 full price from a different store? I will only be playing for the piano sound/upright substitute, I don't do headphones or midi or use funky sounds lol. Would appreciate any insights from someone who has the P-45/P-145 or both! :) TIA
