The third izakaya is always the best one
The first one is loud and cheap. You're just warming up.
The second one is for the food. Something grilled, something cold.
The third one is small. Six seats, no English menu, the master already knows what you'll drink next.
We're a few Tokyo university students at BeBro Japan. When we take visitors out, this is just how the night goes. No fixed route, no group, just wherever feels right.
Some nights we make it to the third izakaya by 11. Some nights we're still going at 4am.
