Got a two-year multiple entry visa from Germany today. AMA!
Applied in New Delhi on May 13. Got my passport back today. Docs I included:
- Photocopies of all previous Schengen visas (including a one year Schengen issued in March 2025)
- cover letter with clear itinerary
- travel insurance
- hotel bookings (dummy)
- air tickets (dummy)
- GST certificate
- bank statements
- IT returns for the last two years
- letter specifically requesting for a long-term visa
- sponsorship letter from my dad + his ITRs + his bank statements
- copy of my valid US visa
