I’m in England. My brother works in a bar. He’s on a zero hour contract. He’s given his shifts a week in advance. However he’s routinely pushed back on his starting time. Eg supposed to start work at 9pm but gets a text from his boss at 8pm saying he doesn’t have to come until 11. He’s also nearly always sent home early. Just wondering about the legality of this, like is this allowed on a zero hour contract?

First time tenant, just signed a joint tenancy with my brother. We assumed that both the deposit and the monthly rent could be split 50/50. So we each sent the letting agency half the rent and half the first month’s rent. Just wondering if this is gonna cause issues as we’re supposed to move in on Friday, and have just got an email from the agency saying the deposit hasn’t been received. Any advice would be appreciated

Just signed my first tenancy agreement. But nowhere in the agreement doesn’t it mention where to pay the deposit and rent into. Is that normal?
