So I was looking for a new fitness app to try and found Lasta app.
Standard disclaimer: yes, they have auto-renewals like literally every other subscription app on the planet, so check the fine print before you commit. That part is nothing new.
But here's a new thing (at least for me): they plant a real tree for every user who works out consistently. I was fully prepared to roll my eyes at it. Then three days in I got a notification that my tree was planted with a certificate with tree´s data. These "green steps" surprised me in a good way. At least they do something for the environment.
