So I’ve never done an Outside service ever cutting in the meter and disconnect i just do rough in the journey man does that while we are boxing out he says it’s efficient . But I really want to do it and they always end up throwing like 8 feet of SEU and SER away in the trash . I do side work with another company he has meters in his house that he just has thrown around , is it stupid for me to ask him for it and just buy a disconnect and practice in my basement on the wall with some plywood ? Or am I just being extra. Has anyone else done this ? Thanks
