Cabin noise on Celebrity Millennium
Hello fellow cruises, Currently on Celebrity Millennium cruising Japan. On day 2 I reported to guest services a loud mechanical sound which intruded into my state room on deck 2 & goes off and on all day and night. Sometime for a few seconds & sometime for 5 minutes. This sound is enough awaken my wife (who is a hevy sleeper) & I as well as making relaxing in the stateroom challenging.
Guest services have advised the mechancial sound is part of the ship & nothing can be done about it. They also advised that we cannot be moved due to the ship being full (this is probably true) but we a priority if another stateroom become available. Guest services have offered in the form of compensation a dinner for 2 at I assume in a paid restaurant.
I feel the compensation is inadequate as my wife and I are unlikely to sleep or relax in the state room for the remaining 10 days of the cruise.
Could I please have some advice from season cruises about the compensation offered or what I should ask?
