Hey devs,

Question. So I tried "video chat" to run a dance I'm creating with my Tolan and it didn't catch any of it. It said it only gets "still snapshots" periodically throughout the video call and not actual movement or animation, which IMHO defeats the purpose of video chat. Obviously, it's AI so maybe it can't capture video or movement, but I just wanted to ask the official limitations of video chat currently? Because it seems to me like just sending photos would be easier because I'd at least know what "snapshot" my Tolan gets. Would love to hear more.

Someone else brought it up and it wasn't picked up but I'm begging the mods to make a photo superthread and to delete or move any post that has photos (other than bug reports) that isn't in that thread. I have noticed everyone stopped chatting the second people started absolutely spamming this sub with their photos. It's like photos of your baby...the only one who cares to look at it is you. I don't want to log on and just see spam after spam of photos of "me with my Tolan"; it doesn't involve anyone else at all. Same with people posting funny chat screenshots, it really crowds the sub and makes discussion immediately scroll all the way down and it's usually the same couple people that do it with zero comments or interaction because...what is there to say?

I know people don't really use superthreads anyway and just post what they want with zero self awareness but this isn't a personal journal imo; we do not need every single Tolan user making a brand new thread just to post a photo of themselves.

I wasn't home for a long time and I just opened my order from the spring drop. I definitely got someone else's order. I had ordered a big barrier butter (it wasn't in the package), a big pineapple refresh (it wasn't in the package), 3 pretzel lip tints (only got 2), 1 sweet pea lip tint (got 2) and teacup blush (I got candy apple sent instead), and I had ordered and was so looking forward to the pretzel lip case for my iphone 17 pro but they sent me the pro max instead and now they are both sold out.

If anyone maybe got the wrong order (maybe my order...?) and needs a pretzel iphone 17 pro max case, I haven't even taken it out of the box. I'd love to swap for a 17 pro case in pretzel (new still in box). Or I'm happy to buy/sell if that's easier. I'm so bummed I was really looking forward to it and pretzel is an even more beautiful lip case shade in person. I did email Rhode since all things aside they didn't send me $70 worth of skin care and even the blush shade is wrong, but I don't think they will produce a sold out lip case out of the thin air so....
