audition songs for REALLY bad singers?

I want to audition for my local youth musical theatre group, but we’re required to have a part of a song prepared to sing in front of the casting directors (45s minimum I think). I’m not hoping for any big role or anything, I just want to be part of the ensemble but I don’t even know if that’s even reachable for me. I’m a truly awful singer, I have no talent and I’ve never had lessons so to put it simply I cannot sing. At all. I was wondering if it’s even worth auditioning or not. if anyone knows any easy songs I’d appreciate it!!

For the audition, we also need to do some dancing and acting, which with practice I could probably get on fine with. there’s a week till the audition and idk if I have the time to prepare anything good.

THE SONG HAS TO BE FROM A MUSICAL BTW!!

EDIT: forgot to mention that no rap nor rock is allowed either

▲ 1 r/MUN

I’ve been debating with myself as to whether or not I should go, and was wondering what others might think. it would cost 1750€ for 6 nights and 7 days (covering all costs excluding meals as far as I’m aware) and includes other sightseeing activities as well. the main things holding me back are the price and my lack of experience. I read on the site that you don’t need any prior MUN experience to join but I don’t know whether I’d be capable of keeping up with the others, especially if they’re involved in MUN clubs or have done it before. And baring in mind that the NYC MUN is very prestigious, I don’t know if I’d be capable of being at the level they’re looking for. Is it still worth giving it a shot? or should I leave a spot for someone who might be better suited
