My surgery is in 4 days and I’m honestly starting to feel everything at once 😭
I’m 23 years old and I’ve lost roughly 115 pounds, so this extended tummy tuck with muscle repair has been a long time coming for me. I’m really proud of my progress, but now that it’s this close I’m getting nervous and overthinking a bit.
My surgeon is recommending I do the extended tummy tuck with MR first, but no liposuction during this stage. He said I could come back in about 6 months to do lipo because of restrictions with combining the procedures.
I’ve been reading online and seeing people talk about a “boxy” look when lipo isn’t done at the same time, and now I’m a little unsure and just want to hear real experiences.
Has anyone had a tummy tuck with muscle repair but no lipo? How did your results turn out? Did you still get a nice shape, or did you end up needing lipo later on?
Any experiences or advice would really help me right now. 🙏
