I built a Firefox extension that keeps your notes on the exact webpage you wrote them
I built this because I kept losing my own notes. I mean, the small things, it could be just a sentence, a paragraph, or just something you wanted to remember from that page.
What I used to do is jot things down somewhere, most of the time Apple Notes, and if I forgot to mention the link, well, I would go back and forth trying to find the tab, the note, the thought, the link.
I hate that.
That's why I built StickyTab. It saves one note per webpage.
Whatever you type on a page is sitting right there when you come back. Open the same URL tomorrow, and your note is still there waiting. That's it.
Notes auto-save as you type, and there's a small red line on the extension icon that shows up when a page has a note.
You can also open a notes panel where everything is in one place, copy one note or all of them, or just delete what you don't need anymore.
Each note holds up to 5,000 characters, and when you copy a note, it also includes the page URL at the bottom by default, so you always know where it came from. You can turn that off in settings if you don't want it.
Works completely offline, nothing leaves your device. There are 3 popup sizes and 4 themes if you want to switch things up a bit.
Would really love to hear what this community thinks. 🙌
