Job Realistic Options: I want to get into Big Law but do not have the grades. Advice?
I got my 1L GPA of 3.14 and know this GPA is not competitive at all for Big Law but have 6 years of professional experience before law school and am on Moot Court. Does anyone have any advice on which firms accept LOWER GPAs and/or mid-size firms to look at that I can lateral into later on?
For reference, I live in San Francisco and am open to that market and Orange County and Los Angeles County. At this point, I will also take whatever (litigation or transactional).
