Dentures
Hello!
I recently joined an FQHC in Wisconsin that is not doing any removable and I believe we need to add the service. Our state does say there is coverage for Immediate dentures, but I'm not sure how often they are approved. The first balk I get from everybody is having to wait the 3-6 months for healing and they just say they'd prefer an immediate. How do you plan for your dentures in your clinic?
Finsih the EXT's and wait out the at least three months of healing. Stage the posterior then anterior extractions and give everybody an immediate? Soft relines along the way? Make a new denture at 3-6 months or reline that immediate?
Thanks!
