Congressional inquiry

Wondering if anybody has any tips when reaching out to your areas representative for a inquiry submission. My EAD is set to expire 07/07 and it seems my job will not accommodate if it does not come in on time. I applied 02/17 and biometrics 03/11.

Want to get ahead of this and use resources to try and make a case for myself. I work in the waste management industry in my county and have some connections but don’t know how I should go about this. Any advice ?

Media Coverage

Would drawing attention to these issues with processing times and how they’re affecting those whose DACA have already expired potentially put pressure on USCIS to get through these applications quicker? Could we band together to contact our congressmen and have them stand up for us as a whole?

I mean how is this ok? These applications used to be approved in a few weeks, what’s the hold up? It’s malicious. People are losing their jobs for no reason because they end up being approved 30 days after they’ve already been let go.

I’ve seen some coverage on local news channels but only recently. Could this be a viable option?

Receipt notices - Biometrics

Do people get receipt notices that USCIS has received their biometrics after their appointment? Checking my case history online I’m noticing that I
have not received that. My biometrics appointment was 03/03 and then on 03/11 there is another notif in my case history tab that states “case is still being processed by USCIS” is this the same as notices people have gotten about them receiving biometrics or is that separate? And also is that common?
