[macOS] Looking for alpha testers for an AI review hub for recorder, iPhone, and Mac voice notes
I’m building PantaLog, an open-source daily review tool that runs on Mac.
The idea is to collect voice notes from multiple sources:
- dedicated voice recorder files
- iPhone Voice Memos or synced audio files
- quick voice input on Mac through a global hotkey
The Mac acts as the review hub. PantaLog imports the recordings, deduplicates them, keeps timestamps, transcribes them, and turns the day into a structured review.
The output I’m aiming for includes:
- what got done
- plans
- ideas
- problems
- mood / state
It’s still alpha. I’m not looking for launch traffic. I’m looking for people who already use voice notes, recorders, journaling, daily reviews, or work logs and are willing to give blunt feedback.
I’m especially trying to validate:
- whether Mac as the central review hub makes sense
- whether importing from recorder/iPhone/Mac feels useful
- what the daily review output should look like
- what privacy expectations users have around voice recordings
Comment or DM if you’re interested in trying it.
