I've understood the benefits of barefoot shoes and would like to buy some for when I do wear shoes which I try to limit as much as possible, but I wear size 51 EU which I believe is 17 US and 16 UK. And I have not been able to find barefoot shoes my size. If you could help me that would be very much appreciated.
Has there ever been a time that you were walking barefoot at a place that it is "odd" to be barefoot at such as the streets, sidewalks, supermarkets, etc... (if you're from a country where that's seen as weird like I am), and interacted with someone who knows you and saw you outside barefoot? If so, how did it go? Were you embarrassed?
Of course do mention if anyone you know ever saw you from far away and told you about it at a different time.
Do you think that there is any possibility of going barefoot ever becoming more common again? Or at least becoming more socially acceptable to the point of it being a valid footwear choice that no one looks down upon?
