Do Welfare Schemes Have a Lasting Impact on Women Voters?

Over the past few years, several state governments have introduced welfare programs specifically targeted at women, including financial assistance, support for self-help groups, healthcare benefits, and other direct-transfer schemes.

in Andhra Pradesh, many women still seem to discuss programs introduced during the YSRCP government, even after the change in power. That made me wonder whether welfare initiatives create a stronger and more durable political connection with women voters than other policy areas.

some argue these programs provide meaningful economic support and improve household decision-making. Others see them as short-term electoral strategies that don't necessarily translate into long-term development.

how much do targeted welfare schemes actually influence women's voting preferences? Is Andhra Pradesh an example of a broader trend in Indian politics?

Reducing Mental Exhaustion With AI

My friend recently showed me his daily routine with AI after he joined an accelerator started by some IIT KGP founders. He does not use it to replace people. He simply uses it to handle the repetitive tasks that drain energy. He lets AI manage his emails reports meeting notes research planning and summaries. This approach feels much healthier than spending ten hours a day on those robotic tasks by hand. It leaves him with more energy for actual thinking and important work. I have started trying the same and it already feels lighter. Some days I just dump my scattered thoughts into it and get back a clean version without burning my brain on the small stuff. It is like having a quiet helper that takes the load off so I can focus on what actually matters.

Jagan's Shirt Going Viral Cracked Me Up It's funny how a simple photo of Jagan in that blue striped shirt blew up more than many big speeches.

I saw the post again and it really shows how people in AP politics think and feel.

that picture turned into this natural fan discussion online, and it didn't feel fake at all. Jagan has kept the same real image for years without switching styles for attention. Even after losing power, his look and presence still get people talking easily.

supporters connect with him on a personal level, not just politics. In this scripted world where everything is overmarketed, that kind of genuine vibe is rare. No wonder even small things about him trend so fast.

Gen Z upset over a new meme party page getting deleted but ignored the real leader

I see so many Gen Z friends panicking because that Cockroach Party Twitter page got deleted. It was just made a few days ago.

but the sad thing is many of them forgot about the actual leader who did all this for real. YS Jagan built real ground connections and gave youth chances in Andhra. He faced attacks went to jail and still created volunteer systems and jobs for lakhs of young people.

now the same generation is getting emotional about a new meme party that did nothing yet. They left the one guy who actually worked on these ideas. It feels strange.

AP youth are all leaving for jobs but govt wants us to have more kids?

man, I'm from Andhra and it's honestly depressing. Almost all my friends from school and college have left — Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, even Dubai and US. The few who stayed are just scraping by with whatever jobs they can find.

and what does the government do? Instead of fixing the job situation or bringing companies here, they're like "have more children, we'll give you 30k." Bro, really? Young people here are already struggling with money, future, everything. How does adding more population help when we can't even employ the ones we have now?

feels like they're just delaying the real problems. I love AP but I don't see a future here unless they actually build the economy properly. Anyone else feeling this?
